CA Cadet Corps Program
The California Cadet Corps Program is returning to Banning High School for the 2026-27 school year. This program provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, strengthen personal responsibility, and prepare for future college and career pathways.
The program is an A-G approved course designed for college-ready students. Students may also receive Physical Education credit through participation in the program. In addition, students will have opportunities to explore college credit options while gaining valuable skills that support their future goals.
Through the California Cadet Corps Program, students will participate in leadership development, community engagement, regimental events, competitions, and activities that build discipline, teamwork, and confidence. Program activities may include State Cadet Corps competitions, marksmanship, IMA, XTC, Summer Encampment, Military Ball, and Dining In.
Students will also have opportunities to connect with local veterans, civic leaders, and community partners, including representatives from the City of Banning, Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, the Chamber of Commerce, Stagecoach Days Association, American Legion, and other local organizations.
Classes will be offered during Zero Period from 7:20-8:20 a.m. during the 2026-27 school year. Students who are interested in joining the program should contact their school counselor for more information.
