Credit Recovery

Regain Credits and Stay on Track for Graduation

The Credit Recovery Program at Banning High School helps students make up credits for courses they have previously failed, ensuring they stay on track toward high school graduation.

This program is delivered through Edmentum, an online platform accessible via the student's Banning Clever account. Students can work at their own pace to complete coursework in a flexible and supportive environment.

How It Works

  • Assigned by Counselor
    Credit recovery is assigned by a student’s counselor based on transcript review and academic need.

  • Access Through Clever
    Students can log in to their credit recovery courses through the Clever Portal, where the Edmentum app is listed. Look for the Edmentum logo.

  • Self-Paced Online Learning
    Students complete the required coursework online at their own pace, allowing for flexibility in how and when they work.

  • Support Available
    Credit Recovery Teachers are available after school for tutoring support and to proctor tests as needed.
