Parking for the Banning High School Commencement Ceremony will be available at the Banning High School Athletic Stadium parking lot. Additional overflow parking will be available at Nicolet Middle School, with complimentary shuttle service provided to and from the stadium.

Arrival Information

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, shuttle transportation (if needed), security screening, and seating before the ceremony begins.

Please follow all posted signage and directions from event staff upon arrival.

Accessibility Parking

Accessible parking will be available at the Banning High School Athletic Stadium for guests displaying a valid ADA placard or license plate. Accessibility parking spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shuttle Service

Guests parking in the Nicolet Middle School Solar Panel Parking Lot may utilize complimentary shuttle service to and from the Banning High School Athletic Stadium.

Admission to the Banning High School Commencement Ceremony requires a valid event ticket. All guests, including family and friends, must present a ticket for entry into the stadium.

Ticket Information

• Each Banning High School graduate will receive seven (7) commencement tickets for guests attending the ceremony.
• All guests age 3 and older must have a ticket for entry.
• Children age 2 and under may attend without a ticket if they can remain seated with a parent or guardian.
• Guests should have their ticket ready upon arrival.
• Tickets must be presented at the entrance for admission.

Staff Admission

Banning Unified School District staff members may enter the ceremony with a valid District employee badge and will not require a ticket for entry. Please note that employee badges only provide admission for the staff member wearing the badge and may not be used for additional guests.

Guest Entry

• Stadium gates will open at 6:00 PM.
• Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, shuttle transportation (if needed), and security screening.
• Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise designated.

To help ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all graduates and families:

• Please remain seated during the ceremony whenever possible.
• Be mindful of views and walkways during student recognition moments.
• Follow all directions from staff, security personnel, and event officials.
• Help create a positive and memorable experience for all graduates and their families.

Important Reminders

• No re-entry will be permitted once guests leave the stadium.
• All guests and belongings are subject to security screening.
• Clear bags are strongly encouraged, and all items are subject to inspection.

To help ensure a safe and smooth commencement ceremony, all guests must follow event entry requirements. Clear bags only will be permitted. All guests and belongings are subject to security screening upon arrival, and entry is conditional upon compliance.

The following items are not allowed inside the venue:

• Weapons or any item that may be used as a weapon
• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and vaping products (including e-cigarettes)
• Balloons
• Gift bags
• Poster boards
• Blow horns and noisemakers
• Confetti, poppers, silly string, and any celebratory materials that may disrupt the event or create safety hazards

All prohibited items will be confiscated, destroyed, and will not be returned.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and be prepared for screening at the entrance. By entering the stadium, all attendees agree to follow all School and District event expectations and help maintain a respectful environment for all graduates and families.

Diplomas for the Banning High School Class of 2026 will be available for pickup following the graduation ceremony. Graduates must pick-up their diplomas in person during the designated dates and times listed below.

Pickup Dates and Times

• Monday, June 8, 2026

• Tuesday, June 9, 2026

• Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Pickup Location

Diplomas will be distributed at the attendance windows outside the administration building at Banning High School.

Requirements for Pickup

• Graduates must present a valid photo ID at the time of pickup

• Diplomas will only be released to the graduate

Important Reminders

• Plan to arrive during the scheduled hours to avoid delays

• Ensure you bring your photo identification, as it is required for release

• Diplomas cannot be picked up by parents, guardians, or friends

Each Banning High School graduate will receive 7 commencement tickets for guests attending the ceremony. All guests age 3 and older must have a ticket for entry. Children age 2 and under may attend without a ticket if they can remain seated with a parent or guardian.

Tickets will be distributed to graduates on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the football stadium. Students should make plans in advance to pick up their tickets during this scheduled distribution time.

Because seating is limited, families are encouraged to plan accordingly and make sure each guest has a ticket before arriving at the ceremony.

Graduation rehearsal is required for participating seniors. Rehearsals will take place in the gymnasium on the following dates and times:

• Tuesday, June 2, 2026 — 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 3, 2026 — 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The June 3 rehearsal is the full dress rehearsal, and students must wear their cap and gown.

On the evening of commencement, students must report to the gym at 5:30 p.m. Gym doors will close promptly at 5:45 p.m. Students should arrive on time and ready to participate in the ceremony.

We are committed to capturing the memorable moments that make this milestone so special for our graduates and their families. Throughout the evening, District photographers will be present to document the ceremony—from students walking the stage to celebrations in the crowd and everything in between.

Our goal is to preserve these moments so families can revisit and share this important achievement for years to come.

The Banning High School Commencement Ceremony is an outdoor event held at the Banning High School Athletic Stadium. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for warm weather conditions and wear comfortable footwear.

Please note that stadium seating consists of metal bleachers, which may retain heat from the day. Guests may wish to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and bottled water while waiting for the ceremony to begin. As temperatures cool during the evening, a light jacket may also be helpful.

As temperatures are expected to be warm throughout the day, guests are encouraged to stay hydrated and take appropriate precautions for sun exposure.

Safety Information

To help maintain a safe environment for all attendees:

• A first aid station staffed by the District nurse will be available during the ceremony.
• Support will be provided by the Banning Police Department and the Banning Unified School District Security Team.
• All guests and belongings are subject to security screening upon entry.
• Guests should immediately notify event staff if medical assistance is needed.
• Please follow all directions from event staff, security personnel, and law enforcement officials.
